AW Lashes was founded in 2020 by Alexis Weisenburger, a licensed cosmetologist with a natural gift for lash extensions. From the start, Alexis saw a need in the industry: lash artists were often using products created by companies disconnected from the realities of day-to-day lashing. With a vision to raise the standard, Alexis launched AW Lashes to bridge that gap—creating high-performance products designed by lash artists, for lash artists.

Every product sold by AW Lashes was designed, tested, and perfected by real lash artists—if a product doesn’t perform better than anything else on the market, it doesn’t make the cut. AW Lashes has always been, and will always be, a brand built by lash artists for lash artists.

From day one, Christine Tanner was by Alexis’s side—helping design the brand, market the products, and make key business decisions. With a background in strategic marketing and more than eight years of experience in the lash and beauty industry, Christine helped shape AW’s foundation behind the scenes for years. In 2023, she officially became co-owner and Alexis’s business partner.

In June 2024, Alexis and her family faced an unimaginable loss with the passing of their daughter Clair due to CDKL5. In the wake of that heartbreak, Alexis made the courageous decision to step back from AW Lashes to focus on her family. Christine stepped forward to lead the company into its next chapter.

Today, Christine Tanner is the owner of AW Lashes, bringing over 20 years of experience in business strategy and marketing, along with the hands-on knowledge of someone who has lived and breathed the lash world. A Utah-based entrepreneur, wife of 19 years, and proud mom of five, Christine lives a fast-paced, family-centered life—and she brings that same energy, empathy, and tenacity to every part of her leadership.

Under Christine’s direction, AW Lashes continues to grow with its loyal local following and a rising national presence. Christine is passionate about helping beauty professionals thrive—equipping them not only with the best tools and training, but also with strategies to build long-term, sustainable success.
